CALL:

The Humanities have a unique contribution to make to the understanding of a wide range of current global problems. The International Council for the Philosophy and Human Studies (CIPSH) together with UNESCO and the University of Liège will hold a World Humanities conference 6-12 August 2017 in Liège. The conference will have six main strands: • Humanity and the environment • Cultures and identities, • Borders and migrations • Heritage • History, memory and politics • The Humanities in a changing world Papers, sessions and symposia which address these broad issues from the perspective of History, Creative Literature, Visual Arts, Performative Media, Anthropology, Comparative cultural studies, Archaeology, Philosophy or any other Humanities fields, are welcome.

Within the Humanities in general Classics has its own distinctive contribution to make to the study of these issues and colleagues are warmly invited to submit proposals. Further details at http://fiecnet.blogspot.co.uk/

A new tool has been created in CIPSH website, to make it easier for all to submitt proposals, without needing to work on the word file. Please check the following link: http://www.cipsh.net/submit/. This system automatically generates a structured proposal that will be sent, as before, to the email of the Conference (cmh-wch@ulg.ac.be) and also to CIPSH
